’Folket’s Sköld’ T-Shirt

’Folkets Lag’, or ’The People’s Team’, is the motto of Tre Kronor — it represents that the team plays for all of Sweden on the international stage. The Swedish Ice Hockey Association commissioned me to design a motif that would represent ’Folkets Lag’ that the players could wear throughout the 2026 IIHF Worlds and eventually be sold.

The design itself is an abstract interpretation of the viking shield depicting the hockey landscape in Sweden from north to south — from the countryside to the city. This is the shield that the players carry when they play for Sweden.
